When I joined Neemb, there wasn’t much in the way of branding, so that I started from scratch. The company ordered a logo from Projector School. When we received the logo, I decided to make some changes. Having applied a couple of minor color tweaks, it's started looking a little better.
When I joined the company, the project had already existed. However, the project wasn't that successful, as it had a poor code quality and lack of systematization in design. Neither components, nor styles. I don't know why it was done this way. Furthermore, I saw a huge opportunity in developing this project, so that I started working on it from scratch.
However, the necessity, in my mind, was pretty clear. Considering the changes that needed to be made to the products and future directions, it made a lot of sense to have a library of components that would be reliable, flexible and totally customizable for our unique use cases.
